Walnut Creek Park surrounds our house. We live on a five acre peninsula inside the park. This painting is of the lake in the park, just over the ridge from our house. The water that is not frozen is thick paint layers sanded down to revel what's underneath in one smooth surface. John painted this in 2015. The painting measures 24.5 inches x 46.5 inches.
